Tournament Time! Let's Go, Brown and White!

Everyone in the Lehigh family is quite excited about our men's and women's basketball teams qualifying for the NCAA tournaments - nothing like sweeping the league titles! We couldn't be happier for them.

The women scored back to back championships, finishing with just 3 losses this season!! I wish I could have been there - watching them win last year is one of my most favorite Lehigh memories. I was personally surprised by the seeding the woman received for the NCAA tournament - with their record, I thought they deserved to get higher than a 13 seed. In any case, I can't wait to watch them on Sunday!

I was able to watch the men beat our rival Lafayette in a great game last week, winning before senior standouts Zahir Carrington and Marquis Hall hand the team off to freshman CJ McCollum (the Patriot League Player of the Year who won several Patriot League Rookie of the Week and Player of the week awards this year, AND is 45th in Div I for points scored this year! Check out what KU has to say about him here). It's one of our most exciting basketball teams during my time here (almost 11 years!!), so it will be fun to see them in the tournament.

We all know the challenges that lie ahead for our teams - but that won't take away from our school spirit! I've been in touch with alums all over the country, and they can't wait to see the Mountain Hawks in their homes.
