As a Senior Assistant Director of Admissions, I meet with a wide variety of people throughout the year to discuss Lehigh University. Nothing compares to life when my colleagues and I travel around the US and world from September to November; it is quite a drastic change, though, once we begin reading applications in the winter. So here's a glimspe into our world - from travel experiences and Eagles training camp, to reading applications and fun events on campus.

How are merit awards announced?
How do we find out about any merit aid awards?
All applicants are considered for merit scholarships. Only about 7-9% of admitted students are actually awarded a merit scholarship as the priority at Lehigh is need-based aid. There is no line drawn in the sand - no minimum requirements. All parts of the application are considered. For those who have been selected, they are notified in their offer letter, and then in their admitted student portal (which they will gain access to by following steps in the offer letter) in the financial aid tab.
